  Most of our group members have seen the photo before the activity.
  In the picture, we can see a skinny African girl. She is squatting on the ground, looking very weak. She looks like she is about to die. I think she must be starving. Her parents are nowhere to be seen. Perhaps they are off to find food. A vile looking vulture is standing beside the girl, waiting for her to die so that it can feed on the girl.
  We think this is a very sad and cruel picture as it showed the selfishness of humans. Because of the risk of transmitting disease, Kevin Carter did not save her the girl in the photo had possibly become the prey of the vulture because However from another point of view, it is said that Carter chased the vulture away after snapping the photo. It is rather natural for people to place themselves first before others. Moreover, one person dying is better than two. It sounds cruel but this is just life in the our society. So, we do not think that Kevin Carter deserved to die under criticism.
